IT Support Consultant - Nurse Call Support
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Experience Requirements
Experience (typically 1-3 years) configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting integrated communications systems.
Working knowledge of electric circuits and wiring in low-voltage applications, to include working from circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and blueprints/floor plans.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with a diverse population of technical and non-technical staff.
Ability to move and install equipment, ascend/descend ladders and use tools effectively
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong customer service focus.
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, ability to analyze complex workflow problems, and recommend solutions.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
Experience working with nurse call systems (Rauland, Ascom, and Dukane), subsystems, and integrations.
Experience with technical process documentation.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of servers, virtual servers, computer networking, and network topology.
Experience with end-user support and training.
Experience working on and/or overseeing projects while adhering to deadlines.
Familiar with AutoCAD and Visio for creation of Scope of Work.
Experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting.
Knowledge of UL1069 and NFPA 99 requirements.
