The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing is seeking a Lactation Clinical Coordinator to perform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.
To assist in the development and supervision of the lactation program, including supervision of the lactation consultants, and of clinical services for patients and clients who are lactating in Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, NICU, Family Medicine, and the Women’s Health clinics.
Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Days , Monday - Friday
Location: UIHC Main Campus
Salary: $51,718.00 per year to commensurate

Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required
- 1-3 years of Lactation experience is required
- IBCLC is required
- Considerable (greater than 4 years) experience leadership/management roles
- Valid license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Internet
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated skill in leadership/management and experience in clinical practice required
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a clinic setting or applicable specialty area
