Laundry System Maintenance Mechanic
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Six years of experience in electrical or control trade, including apprenticeship; or graduation from a two-year resident instrumentation and controls program.
License Requirement:
Valid Driver’s license is required and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety driving Standards.
Desirable Qualifications
- Two years experience installing, inspecting, maintenance and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
- Two years experience troubleshooting and programming microprocessor controllers on laundry and/or industrial grade equipment
- Two years training and/or field experience repairing and maintaining building gas fired water heaters and electrical fresh air exhaust vents
- Two years training and/or field experience in high pressure steam system piping and components of a close return system
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectable demeanor with staff and customers that fosters good relations
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
