Education or Equivalency Required 
  • A doctoral degree in Psychology is required.
Required Qualifications 
  • Licensed Psychologist in the state of Iowa
  • Health Service Provider (HSP) in the state of Iowa (or eligible to apply for HSP).
  • Experience administering, interpreting, and reporting results of the range of tests related to intellectual abilities, academic achievement, neuropsychological functioning, psychosocial adjustment, and/or career-related issues is required. Working proficiency level. Typical experience is 1-5 years. 
  • Experience in providing therapy services to children and/or families. Working proficiency level. Typical experience is 1- 5 years.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Completion of an APA-approved internship is preferred.
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations for learning disorders, attention disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and mood/anxiety disorders. 
  • Strong clinical assessment writing skills. Clinical writing samples may be requested.
  • Specific training in using the Autism Diagnostic Observation System, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview—Revised (ADI-R) in evaluating and diagnosing autism spectrum disorder is preferred, but applicants without this training will also be considered.
  • Prior familiarity or experience with high ability and/or twice-exceptional students is desired, but applicants without this experience will also be considered.
