Licensed Practical Nurse -100% Fam Med Coralville
The University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC Family Med Clinic, Coralville clinic.

We see patients for pregnancy care, baby wellness, vaccinations, school and athletic physicals, acute care visits, annual physicals, regular check-ups, mental health, on-site laboratory services and more. Summary:
Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM/ANM (nurse manager/assistant nurse manager) or other licensed designee, functions as a member of the patient care team. Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in the Pediatric Associates care setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit.
Duties to include:
- Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
- Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
- In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.

Percent of Time: 100% (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard hours between 7:30:00 AM -5:00 PM
- The listed schedule and locations could change based on clinical needs/hours.
No on-call time

Pay Grade: 11 https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/merit-plan
Salary: $42,569.76 to $63,424.96 / Hourly rate: $20.31 - $30.26 (based on years of experience)
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support provider.
Special Qualification
- Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards
Desired Requirements
- Previous 6 months of pediatric experience
- Previous EPIC experience
- Previous phlebotomy experience
