Literary Specialist
Education Requirement
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in English, comparative literature, journalism, creative writing, communication studies, the humanities, or related field. Significant writing and teaching experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Considerable (2-5 years) administrative, program development, teaching, supervisory, writing, and editorial experience is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective strategies for working with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
- Significant writing and teaching experience is required.
Desired Qualifications
- A Master 's or doctoral degree in an appropriate discipline is desirable.
- Reasonable (1-2 years) public speaking experience and a publication history are desirable.
- Experience working in a university setting is desirable.
