Maintenance Planner
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Professional experience (typically 1-3 years) in maintenance planning.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer software applications including Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, and email), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Continuous improvement attitude, the ability to suggest and implement best practices, and demonstrable cognizance of conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives at all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge in building systems.
- Familiarity with University of Iowa maintenance concepts, practices and terminology.
- Maintenance or reliability certifications.
- Familiarity with general and maintenance specific safety regulations and practices.
- Experience working within AssetWorks AiM (computerized maintenance management system).
- Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
