Manager, Accounting & Financial Analysis - ICTS Administration

The department intends to hire for one position from either Senior Financial Analyst, requisition 20001118 or Manager, Accounting & Financial Analysis, requisition 20001120.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and/or financial analysis.
• Extensive experience using MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Access.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
• Ability to establish productive working relationships.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

• Experience using University of Iowa accounting systems.
• Experience in pre- and post-award processes for grants and contracts from various federal, state and private funding agencies.
• Knowledge of University, State, Federal and NIH policies, procedures and regulations.
• Experience negotiating budgets and managing industry sponsored research.
