Manager, Health Care Data & Analytics
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, MIS, Informatics or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and related healthcare application experience and technical certifications.
Experience Required:
• Experience (typically 7-10 years) in the development and management of BI reporting.
• Experience providing consultative and analytical support including design, implementation, coordination, and data querying to support patient outcome, operations, and financial improvement.
• Broad knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data marts, business intelligence (BI) solutions, and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience in team management, supervision/management, performance management, career development.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff.
• Excellent communication skills at the verbal, written and presentation levels.
• Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Informatics or related discipline is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing relationships with a wide customer base spanning both hospital operations/analytics and research.
• Proficiency with the MS Suite of products to include MS WORD, EXCEL, Outlook, Project, Sharepoint and Visio.
• Experience in a large academic medical center environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with any of the following workflows: clinical pathology, microbiology, anatomic pathology, outreach, blood banking
