Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Hospital/Health Administration or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years directly related marketing, healthcare administrative, or business experience
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in directly related capacity in a referral testing program, with some supervisory experience
  • Reasonable knowledge of accounting, data processing, and personnel administration
  • Considerable knowledge of similar hospital/departmental policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in computer software applications
  • Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Membership in CLMA (Clinical Laboratory Management Association) or ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology)
  • Experience with physician office administration
