Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of relevant marketing writing experience.
  • Creativity and ability to tailor the style of writing to reflect the audience.
  • A keen eye for detail, with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.
  • Submission of five creative samples that demonstrate the quality and range of ability to write, edit, and communicate in a variety of formats. Best samples will include effective use of headlines, shorter copy blocks, and calls to action. 

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Track record of using research and data to help bolster creative decisions.
  • Effectively manage time, concurrently working on multiple projects.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work under a deadline, while remaining positive amid constructive feedback.
  • Experience working within brand standards.

    • Five creative samples that demonstrate the quality and range of ability to write, edit, and communicate in a variety of formats. Best samples will include effective use of headlines, shorter copy blocks, and calls to action.
