Medical and Academic Library Outreach Coordinator
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library science program
- Familiarity with NLM and NNLM programs and demonstrated knowledge of NLM resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as web-based applications for online education.
- Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license at the time of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity in the workplace or community.
- Demonstrated ability to perform public speaking and instructional sessions
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance, learning new responsibilities quickly.
- Minimum six years post-MLS relevant professional experience in an academic/research library
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with DOCLINE
- Experience within health sciences librarianship
- Experience with data science or research data management principles
- Experience leading or participating on interdisciplinary teams
