Medical Assistant II - Scott Blvd Laboratory & Urgent Care 60%
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant OR
- Registration as a Medical Assistant OR
- Completion of a recognized one year Medical Assistant Program, OR Completion of a health care profession program with a curriculum incorporating elements of a Medical Assistant program including but not limited to pathophysiology, medical terminology, basic pharmacology and medication administration including dose calculation and psychology (include educational transcripts during application process)
Special Qualification:
- Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards and availability to provide support to other clinical locations based on clinical need/hours
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Previous experience handling and processing lab specimens
- Previous EPIC and Beaker experience
- Previous walk-in clinic experience is preferred

- Approaches every interaction with patients and coworkers with a positive, professional demeanor and valuing respect, collaboration, and excellence in the position
