Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Position Qualifications:
Education Required
· A Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
Experience Requirements
·
A Current RN license from the State of
·
A Current ARNP license from the State
of
· Two years experience in neonatology is required.
· National certification as NNP (national exam) is required.
· Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment is required.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Desirable Qualifications
· Demonstrated Level III NICU experience
· Demonstrated clinical excellence through published articles and/or clinical presentations
· Demonstrated experience providing overall medical care and provide medical management for patients in an inpatient setting.
· Demonstrated experience exercising autonomy in medical decision-making and services provided.
· Demonstrated experience managing length of stay, improve resource utilization and decrease costs to patients and the institution while providing personalized care.
