QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in area of sleep medicine practice.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP):

Must comply with registration and licensure requirements as specified by the Iowa Board of Nursing.  A Master's degree is required.  A Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.  If Master's degree is in a related field, a Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.  Must be Board Certified by the American Academy of  Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice - FNP or as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner - AGNP.

 
 
CERTIFICATIONS
  • Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required.
  • Current certification in specialty area and licensure as an ARNP in state of Iowa is required.

  • ARNP’s must be Board Certified as an FNP or AGNP.

 Desired Qualifications

  • Training and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is highly desirable.

  • Experience with patient and staff education.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new programs.

  • Experience with evidence based practice or research utilization. 

  • Participation in professional ARNP organizations.
