Neurology Clinic - Clinic Services Specialist
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a medical/clinic setting.
- Knowledge of clinical scheduling, patient scheduling, or coordination of patient activities.
- Recent working experience with electronic health records (e.g., Epic)
- Experience in writing/developing correspondence with internal and external entities (e.g., patients, customers, vendors, etc.)
- Proficiency in computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of billing/compliances.
Experience working with spreadsheets and database data entry
- Demonstrated experience working independently with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures
