Neurology Clinic - Medical Assistant II (60%-80%)
Required Qualifications
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant or completion of a recognized one-year Medical Assistant Program, or Completion of a health care profession program with a curriculum incorporating elements of a Medical Assistant program including but not limited to: pathophysiology, medical terminology, basic pharmacology and medication administration including dose calculation and psychology.
Desired Qualifications.
- Has experience working in a health care environment with direct patient care
- Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff.
- Strong written communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Previous healthcare support experience
- Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
- Demonstrated computer skills and ability to navigate the EMR.
