Neurology - Clinic Services Specialist - Epilepsy
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated excellent communication while dealing with a diverse patient population.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of clinical scheduling and coordination of patient activities.
- Previous experience with EPIC/EHR.
- Experience in developing correspondence with patients and internal/external providers.
- Previous experience which demonstrates proficiency in computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience working independently with the ability to prioritize tasks in a clinical setting.
- Capacity to help others and to empathize with special patient care.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures
- Customer service experience or training.
- Knowledge of billing and compliances.
