REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated excellent communication while dealing with a diverse patient population.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of clinical scheduling and coordination of patient activities.
  • Previous experience with EPIC/EHR.
  • Experience in developing correspondence with patients and internal/external providers.
  • Previous experience which demonstrates proficiency in computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrated experience working independently with the ability to prioritize tasks in a clinical setting.
  • Capacity to help others and to empathize with special patient care.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures
  • Customer service experience or training.
  • Knowledge of billing and compliances.
