Neurology -Physician Assistant - Sleep Disorders
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience in area of sleep medicine practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.
Must comply with registration and licensure requirements as specified by the Iowa Board of Physician Assistant Examiners which includes graduation from an accredited PA educational program and/or certification by the NCCPA.
Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required.
Current certification in specialty area and licensure as a PA in state of Iowa is required.
Desired Qualifications
Training and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is highly desirable.
Experience with patient and staff education.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new programs.
Experience with evidence based practice or research utilization.
Participation in professional PA organizations.
