REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and must be reliable and efficient with time management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate (written and verbally) effectively with vendors, collaborators, and with project researchers.

  • Knowledge of basic experimental design in animal models and biological       psychology/neuroscience.

  • Experience with IT infrastructure and standard office software.

  • Basic familiarity with bitmap and vector graphics applications (Photoshop or Gimp or ImageJ; Illustrator or Inkscape).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience as a research assistant in a Psychology or Neuroscience lab.

  • Basic knowledge and experience with MATLAB coding and / or biological/behavioral data analysis.

  • Prior experience with rodent handling and husbandry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Science, Psychology or Neuroscience.
