Neurology - Research Assistant - Neuromodulation Research Program of Excellence
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have excellent organizational skills and must be reliable and efficient with time management.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate (written and verbally) effectively with vendors, collaborators, and with project researchers.
Knowledge of basic experimental design in animal models and biological psychology/neuroscience.
Experience with IT infrastructure and standard office software.
Basic familiarity with bitmap and vector graphics applications (Photoshop or Gimp or ImageJ; Illustrator or Inkscape).
Prior experience as a research assistant in a Psychology or Neuroscience lab.
Basic knowledge and experience with MATLAB coding and / or biological/behavioral data analysis.
- Prior experience with rodent handling and husbandry.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Science, Psychology or Neuroscience.
