Nurse Clinician - Heart Failure/Pulmonary Hypertension (UI Heart and Vascular Center)

Experience Requirement |
- 1-3 years nursing experience in Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated expertise in specific clinical area of practice is required.
Certification/Licensure Requirement |

Current certification in BLS required by start date.

Current certification in ACLS required by start date.

Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa required by start date.
Desired Qualifications |

Nursing experience with the management of patients in an outpatient setting and/or experience in caring for Cardiomyopathy patients is desired.

Strong organization and time management skills and documented excellent interpersonal skills with patients, families and health care workers are desired.

Previous experience in determining nursing care requirements and developing programs is desired.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new programs is desired.

Experience in case management and/or care coordination is desired.
