Nurse Clinician-Pediatric Cath Lab
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years working with Electrophysiology patient populations
- 2 years of Pediatric ICU or Cath Lab (Adult or Pediatric) RN experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment while functioning in a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience in patient education required
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience working with an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills are required
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required by date of hire
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required by start date
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS ) required within 6 months
- Master’s degree in nursing
- Involvement in a professional organization
- Experience with pediatric cardiology population
- Previous EPIC experience
- Experience with device implantation, interrogation, programming, and troubleshooting
