Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in health or science related field with 2 years of experience; Bachelor’s degree in health or science related field with 4 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a liaison and influence decision makers.
  • Familiarity with hospital and clinical environments.
  • Must have valid driver's license and be able to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Management Driver’s safety requirements.

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience supporting new initiatives within a hospital or health system.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas that require new solutions or innovation to solve an existing problem.
  • Experience developing a prototype to solve a problem.
  • Community building and Inter-personal engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and engage with nurses and healthcare leadership in new initiatives.
  • Commitment to elevating and supporting nurses.
