Nurse Manager - Dialysis Administration
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field. If Master’s Degree is in related field, Baccalaureate in Nursing is required.
- Must obtain an advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) in related field (ex: nursing, health care administration or business administration) within five years of beginning position
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa or ability to obtain an Iowa license by date of hire is required.
Considerable (3-5 years) experience in leadership/management roles to include prior experience working with regulatory bodies and survey readiness/negotiations is required.
Proficient in computer software applications
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary team leadership skills.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication.
Demonstrates skills for leading change and implementation of evidence based practice.
Demonstrated skill in leadership/management and experience in dialysis clinical practice is required.
Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment is required.
- Experience working in a large academic medical center
Experience working in academia is highly desired.
Membership/involvement in professional organizations.
Professional certification in relevant nursing or clinical area. If no professional certification, expectation is that it will be achieved when employee is eligible to site for the exam.
