Nurse Manager - Women's Health Clinic (North Dodge St/Quad Cities)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field. If Master’s Degree is in related field, Baccalaureate in Nursing is required.
- If qualified applicant does not have Master’s Degree in Nursing, the applicant will need to complete an advanced degree in nursing, health care administration, or business administration within five years of beginning this position.
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa or ability to obtain an Iowa license by date of hire is required.
- Considerable (3-5 years) experience in leadership/management roles to include prior experience working with regulatory bodies and survey readiness.
- Demonstrates skills for leading change and implementation of evidence based practice.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary team leadership skills.
- Must be proficient in computer software applications
- Certification in a role or specialty through a nationally recognized professional nursing certification body. If not currently certified must seek certification in a role or specialty as soon as eligible to sit for the exam
- Demonstrate job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in OB/GYN clinical practice.
- Membership/involvement in professional organizations
- Professional certification in relevant nursing or clinical area. If no professional certification, expectation is that it will be achieved when employee is eligible to site for the exam.
- Previous experience working in a large academic medical center
- Experience working in a union environment
