Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field

 Experience Requirements

  • Current license to practice nursing.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience coordinating care along the healthcare continuum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office computer software applications.
  • Experience providing customer service in a direct or in direct manner working with patients, care providers, case managers, or insurance carriers.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working in orthopedic clinics and knowledge of orthopedic terminology.
  • Working knowledge of practices, tools, and considerations for managing claims processing.
  • Experience with management of musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Working knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Certification in Case Management or Certification in Occupational Health Nursing.
