Nursing Clinical Coordinator- Ortho Work Injury- North Liberty Medical Center
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field
Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of clinical experience.
- Experience coordinating care along the healthcare continuum.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office computer software applications.
- Experience providing customer service in a direct or in direct manner working with patients, care providers, case managers, or insurance carriers.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working in orthopedic clinics and knowledge of orthopedic terminology.
- Working knowledge of practices, tools, and considerations for managing claims processing.
- Experience with management of musculoskeletal injuries.
- Working knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.
- Certification in Case Management or Certification in Occupational Health Nursing.
