Nurse Manager - RN Case Management/Navigators - Care Coordination Division
Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Nursing is required. If Master’s Degree is in related field, Baccalaureate in Nursing is required.

Must obtain an advanced degree in nursing, health care administration or business administration within five (5) years of beginning this position.

Current license to practice nursing in Iowa
-
Considerable (3-5 years) experience in leadership/management roles.

Demonstrated skill in leadership/management and experience in clinical practice required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Must be proficient in computer software applications

Certification in a role or specialty through a nationally recognized professional nursing certification body. If not currently certified must seek certification in a role or specialty as soon as eligible to sit for the exam.
- Professional job-related experience fostering or promoting a welcoming and respectful work/academic environment where people of all backgrounds and perspectives feel welcomed and appreciated; or demonstrated the ability to do so.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Master of Nursing and Healthcare Practice (MNHP), MSN/Clinical Nurse Leader or a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN, MA).
- Minimum 3 years of Clinical RN experience.
- Certification in a role or specialty through a nationally recognized professional nursing certification body is desired (i.e (CCMC) Commission for Care Manager Certification).
- Experience working in EPIC.
- Experience in a large academic medical center.
