Nursing Practice Leader (NPL) - Population Health
Required:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field. If Master's degree is in a related field Baccalaureate in Nursing is required.
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa
- 3-5 years of experience in leadership required.
- Demonstrates skills for leading change, transitions of care, and implementation of evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrates skills in leadership/management roles
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary team leadership skills
- Proficient in computer software applications
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication
Desired:
- Experience working in an academic medical center.
- Experience working in academia.
- Experience with education of the adult learner.
- Experience working in an ambulatory setting is highly desired.
- Proven project management skills: ability to coordinate activities and projects across departments, time management, organization of workload, analytical decision-making skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
- Professional Certification in a relevant nursing or clinical area. If no professional certification, expectation is that it will be achieved when employee is eligible to sit for the exam.
- Flexibility with scheduled work hours to meet the needs of the units, clinics, departments, and hospital.
