Organ Transplant Performance Improvement Engineer
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications
· A Master’s degree in a healthcare related field with 1-3 years’ experience in healthcare outcomes and performance improvement initiatives/techniques, or related experience (which may include clinical care)

· A Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field with 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare outcomes and performance improvement initiatives/techniques, or related experience (which may include clinical care) is required.
· A current Iowa RN license is required.
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Power Point and Excel is required.
· Ability to format tables, retrieves data via queries, and creates presentations via PowerPoint.
· Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
Desirable Qualifications
· Previous transplant experience is desired.
· A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is desired.
· Specific training and certification in performance improvement techniques e.g., Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is desired.
· Professional certification related to healthcare quality (i.e. CPHQ, ASQ) is desired.
· Previous clinical experience in an academic medical center is desired.
· Some knowledge of University and Regent policies, procedures, and regulations is desired.
