Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field relevant to the position or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Working experience (typically 1 year) performing human resources administrative functions in an HR role or HR environment.
  • Commitment to and ability to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the work or academic environment.
  • Demonstrated independent critical thinking and attention to detail with policy interpretation and recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and to ensure a high level of accuracy in work produced.
  • Basic proficiency in the use of typical office software programs (i.e. Microsoft Office) and HR systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification and/or a commitment to the HR field through training and development.
  • Knowledge and experience with human resources policies, procedures as related to position.
  • Experience working in an HR information system (HRIS).
  • Experience with payroll processing and management.
