Required Qualifications

  • A Master's degree is required. A Master's degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is preferred.
  • Current certification as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Licensure as ARNP in State of Iowa.
  • Eligibility to obtain a license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa.
  • Demonstrated experience in the clinical care of pediatric patients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with indirect supervision and critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment or promoting a diverse environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
  • Eligible for a federal DEA license.

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Allergy/Immunology.
  • Knowledge and experience in clinical care of pediatric patients.
