Pediatric Ophthalmic Technician
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Three years of health care experience involving direct patient care including some use and maintenance of specialized medical equipment with at least one year of the prior experience at the level of a Clinical Technician II or equivalent, or a combination of related education and experience.
Desirable Qualifications
- 1-3 years pediatric patient care experience and/or a desire to work the pediatric patient population
- Experience building rapport with others, specifically children and their caregivers
- Eye clinic experience
- JCAHPO certified (COA) within 18 months of hire and maintain certification.
