Required Qualifications

 

  • Current certification (or eligibility) as Physician Assistant
  • Current PA license (or eligibility) to practice nursing in the State of Iowa is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team and independently with indirect supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience in the area of pediatrics.
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills including flexibility, effective prioritization, and completion of tasks.
  • Demonstrated excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Current Federal DEA license (or eligibility)

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Allergy/Immunology.
  • Knowledge and experience in clinical care of pediatric patients.

 

The department intends to hire for one position from either Physician Assistant, requisition 22005935, or ARNP, requisition 22005932, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Please apply to the specific position for which you wish to be considered or both.
