Pediatrics Clinical Pharmacist

Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Current license or eligibility to be licensed as Pharmacist by Iowa Board of Pharmacy required by date of hire.

One (1) year of applicable pharmacy experience is preferred. Prior work and student rotation experience will be considered.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

Job related experience with and/or commitment to service excellence is required
-
Job related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work environment is required

Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency in hospital pharmacy practice is desirable
-
Immunization certification is desirable
-
One year or more of Pediatric health system pharmacy experience is highly desirable

Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in pediatrics is highly desirable
-
Board certification in Pharmacotherapy or Pediatrics is highly desirable
