Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Current license or eligibility to be licensed as Pharmacist by Iowa Board of Pharmacy required by date of hire.
 
Experience Requirements:
  • One (1) year of applicable pharmacy experience is preferred. Prior work and student rotation experience will be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Job related experience with and/or commitment to service excellence is required
  • Job related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work environment is required
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency in hospital pharmacy practice is desirable
  • Immunization certification is desirable
  • One year or more of Pediatric health system pharmacy experience is highly desirable
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in pediatrics is highly desirable
  • Board certification in Pharmacotherapy or Pediatrics is highly desirable
