Perioperative Supply Chain Coordinator
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Moderate (1-3 years) experience providing clinical operations support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer software applications and database applications (such as Microsoft programs)
- Collaborates and develops effective interpersonal relationships with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams and other hospital departments
- Ability to move throughout hospital, move 25 pounds, and frequently transport heavy case carts.
- Ability to move and position self to handle inventory, including high/low shelving.
- Attention to detail and organization skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with medical terminology
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
- Experience with Peoplesoft inventory management system.
- Previous healthcare experience with demonstrated ability to promote favorable working relationships (surgeons, vendors, and staff).
