Education Required

  • A bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology approved by the Council of Education of the American Medical Association or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required

Experience Required

  • Nuclear Medicine Certification recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal) skills as demonstrated through interactions with department staff.
  • Possess current license or eligible for licensure by the Iowa Public Health Department as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist as documented with Iowa Permit to Practice.

Desired Qualifications

  • PET specialty certification approved by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
