PET Staff Nurse - Radiology
Educational Requirements:
- An Associate degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, Professional Master of Nursing and Healthcare Practice (MNHP), MSN/Clinical Nurse Leader, or a master’s degree in Nursing (MSN, MA) is required
- If a Baccalaureate degree is Nursing is not yet obtained, active enrollment in a BSN program is required
Certification Requirements:
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa
- BLS Certification
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum one year of recent RN experience
- Experience in tracheostomy care
- Experience with arterial lines
- Experience placing IV access
- Experience accessing ports
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and limited resources
- Demonstration of strong organizational skills and time management
- Previous experience using electronic medical records
Desired Qualifications:
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- EKG recognition experience
