Physical Therapist | Inpatient Orthopedic Acute Care

This advanced facility houses our nationally recognized Orthopedics program alongside a full-service emergency department, advanced imaging, laboratory services, and therapy clinics. ·         On Campus: This position is performed fully at the North Liberty Hospital

·         This position is Part-time, 60%

·         Work Schedule: Friday: 3:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday/Sunday 7:00am-5:30pm

Qualifications | Senior Physical Therapist | Inpatient Orthopedic Acute Care

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy is required.

  • Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in Physical Therapy is necessary, with a high degree of understanding and skill in Orthopedics.

  • Demonstrated skills in clinical education abilities.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.

  • Demonstrated experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist.

  • 3+ years of experience in one or more areas of assigned responsibility.

  • Ability to practice in an autonomous manner.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness and efficiency in provision of patient care.

  • Demonstrated effort to enhance one’s own knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Demonstrated program/service development or quality improvement projects.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy is required.

  • Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required.

  • Entry level experience in Physical Therapy, with proven education in Orthopedics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • 1-3 years of experience in Physical Therapy.

  • 1-3 years of experience in one or more assigned areas of responsibility.

  • Demonstrates experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.
