Physician Assistant
Education
- Must comply with registration and licensure requirements as specified by the Iowa Board of Physician Assistant Examiners which include graduation from an accredited PA educational program and/or certification by the NCCPA
Required Qualification

Demonstrated
clinical experience in Psychiatry is required.
·
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills are required.
·
Evidence
of ability to function with a high degree of independence while actively
collaborating with health care members providing care for highly complex
patients
Desired
- Physician Assistant post-graduate training in psychiatry.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
- Experience working in a mental health clinic.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary process improvement.
