Education
  • Must comply with registration and licensure requirements as specified by the Iowa Board of Physician Assistant Examiners which include graduation from an accredited PA educational program and/or certification by the NCCPA 
Required Qualification
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Evidence of ability to function with a high degree of independence while actively collaborating with health care members providing care for highly complex patients
Desired
  • Physician Assistant post-graduate training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in a mental health clinic.
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary process improvement.
