Education
Must comply with registration and licensure requirements as specified by the Iowa Board of Physician Assistant Examiners which include graduation from an accredited PA educational program and/or certification by the NCCPA

 

Required Qualifications
Demonstrated clinical experience in Psychiatry including work with children is required. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Evidence of ability to function with a high degree of independence while actively collaborating with health care members providing care for highly complex patients

 

Desired Qualifications
Physician Assistant post-graduate training in psychiatry.
Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
Experience working in a mental health clinic.
Experience with multi-disciplinary process improvement.
