Preservation Librarian
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree in library science or history is required.
Required Qualifications
- Evidence of strong organizational and prioritization skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of two years of related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to perform well in a team environment, provide customer service, and coordinate and supervise the work of other staff or student workers.
- Knowledge of principles and practices related to preservation of print and born-digital materials.
- Requires a valid drivers license and the ability to meet and maintain UI fleet safety standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of cataloging principles and practices.
- Knowledge of court records and organization.
