Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in library science or history is required.  

 

Required Qualifications

  • Evidence of strong organizational and prioritization skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to perform well in a team environment, provide customer service, and coordinate and supervise the work of other staff or student workers.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices related to preservation of print and born-digital materials.
  • Requires a valid drivers license and the ability to meet and maintain UI fleet safety standards. 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cataloging principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of court records and organization.
