Program Coordinator
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of one year of program coordination experience in a public health field.
Experience that demonstrates ability to establish and build effective partnerships and collaborative working partnerships.
Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience that demonstrates ability to use software programs, techniques, and processes for collecting, managing and reporting data.
Ability to travel in surrounding geographic area; and hold a valid driver’s license, plus the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standards (University of Iowa Operations Manual Part V, Chapter 19).
Desirable Qualifications
Experience that demonstrates knowledge of systems of care for Children and Youth List with Special Health Care needs is highly desirable.
Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH), or Social Work (MSW) with a policy emphasis is highly desirable.
Experience working with stakeholders to advance shared goals and programs is highly desirable.
