Education Requirement

·         A Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, English, Literature, Creative Writing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A Master’s degree in a relevant field by start date is highly desired.

 

Experience Required

·         Program coordination experience (typically a minimum of one year) is required.

·         Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods and behaviors at a working proficiency level is required.

·         Working proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications is required.

·         Working proficiency and experience with students in a professional or volunteer capacity is required.

·         Demonstrated working proficiency in the ability to work with variety of individuals and groups in a constructive manner while appreciating the unique contribution of diverse individuals is required.

 

Desirable Qualifications

·         Possession of a valid Driver’s License, ability to meet the University Fleet Safety Program, and the ability to occasionally travel is desirable.

·         Working proficiency and experience utilizing social media platforms for outreach and promotional purposes is desirable.  

·         Demonstrated ability to adjust and develop self to prepare for new or changing assignments, processes, people or priorities as organizational needs dictate at a working proficiency level is desirable.

·         Some knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations is desirable.
