Program Coordinator - Department of Community and Behavioral Health
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in public health or related social or environmental science field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Experience and/or training in community engagement.
· Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, proactively making
effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Ability to be responsive in a community-engaged environment.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in public health or related social or environmental science field.
Desired Qualifications:
· Bilingual writing and speaking skills in English and Spanish.
· Experience with community-based organizations.
· Experience with K-12 public school system.
· Experience and/or training in research design/methods; environmental justice; health communication, or other related topics.
· Experience with project management.
· Experience in pre and post award management of federal and privately funded research grants and contracts.
· Experience in conception, planning, and implementation of outreach activities.
· Experience in writing assistance and proofreading grant proposals.
· Some knowledge of university practices, rules, and regulations.
