Program Coordinator - Department of Community and Behavioral Health
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in administration is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Previous experience building and maintaining partnerships.
Ability to travel within the State of Iowa is required. A valid US driving license and ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standard is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Zoom
Must reside in Page County, Fremont County, Mahaska County, Des Moines County, or Carroll County, Iowa.
Highly Desirable Qualification:
Master’s degree in Public Health or related field
Desirable Qualification
Experience in qualitative data collection and analysis.
Experience with identifying, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based interventions.
Previous experience in program and/or project management.
Knowledge of and experience related to health and cancer-related issues facing communities in Iowa.
Personal or professional experience with cancer, cancer control, public health, and/or health care.
