Education Required:

A Master’s degree in Creative Writing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Superlative written and verbal communication, comfort with public speaking, and the ability to model and maintain positive interpersonal skills in a high-voltage settings.
  • Demonstrated competency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Zoom, as well as experience using digital course creation and teaching platforms such as ICON, Canvas Catalog, Blackboard, or other electronic learning management systems
  • 1-3 years experience working in a festival or conference, primarily in an administrative role.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and develop self to prepare for new or changing assignments, processes, people, or priorities as organizational needs dictate

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with adult learners in a community setting
  • Familiarity with university policies and procedures
  • Experience developing online programming.
