Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and test of embedded firmware systems, or equivalent postgraduate training.
  • Proficiency with at least one programming language suitable for embedded systems.
  • Proficiency with a Hardware Description Language (HDL) – either VHDL or Verilog.
  • Proficiency with test equipment (bench power supplies, oscilloscope, network analyzer, etc.)
  • Experience working in small teams and/or projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in an environment with limited direction and broad responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsemi Proasic FPGAs
  • Experience with Libero Development Environment
  • Experience designing, building, or testing spaceflight or similar high reliability systems
  • Experience with error detection and correction techniques
  • Experience in the product life cycle of spaceflight or similar high reliability systems
  • Experience with qualification testing for spaceflight or equivalent hardware
  • Experience presenting technical content at workshops, reviews, and mission meetings
  • Master’s degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
