Project Manager – Finance Portfolio
Education Required
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business or Management, Public Health, Health Administration or a related Health Industry discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- Project Management experience, typically 1-3 years implementing and managing multiple medium to large-scale programs/projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer service utilizing established PMO Program/Project Management methodology, processes, procedures, tools, and techniques to improve quality measures and metrics.
- Ability to lead process improvement activities to make enhancement recommendations and implement workflow and business process changes.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of management and project team members
- Demonstrated strong project management, organizational and facilitation skills.
- Experience leading teams and people to successfully implement change utilizing a positive, can-do attitude to inspire others.
- Proficient in Project Management tools such as MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Visio and/or MS PowerPoint
- Experience with the concept of the PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge) and applying project management principles, methodology & processes to managing projects.
- Ability to simultaneously lead multiple small to large-scale programs/projects.
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management experience within a health care delivery setting
- Demonstrated ability to engage as individual contributor in successful project management and implementation.
- Preference will be given to candidates with educational and certification credentials combined with project management experience in a health industry.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Master Certificate in Project Management, Public Heath Certification, or Informatics Certificate, Prince2, AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM), ITILv3, Lean, Agile and/or Six Sigma certification
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Business or Management, Public Health, Health Administration or a related Health Industry discipline
