Psychiatry Nurse, Student Health

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

·         Current license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa, or ability to obtain a state of Iowa nursing license by the date of hire.

·         Current CPR certification

·         Nursing experience (typically 1 year or more) in an ambulatory setting or closely related.

·         Commitment to and alignment with the values of the Division of Student Life, including a demonstrated commitment to excellence through diversity, equity, and inclusion.

·         Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

·         Superior attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications:

·         Previous experience providing nursing services in a psychiatric setting.

·         Knowledge of University policies and procedures.

·         Previous experience with electronic medical record system, preferably EPIC.

·         Previous experience working within a College Health Clinic or closely related.
